Thomas P. Ivanyi is the founder and CEO of Private Equity Direct, LLC, a firm that identifies, evaluates and selects private equity investments on a case-by-case basis serving HNWI investors, family offices, and asset managers in the USA, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  Tom also serves as co-founder and CEO of Hampton Partners Ltd., a private investment banking firm established in 1989 and based in New York. 

Tom has extensive commercial and investment banking experience with a career spanning over 35 years as a senior executive with Citibank, Mitsubishi Trust, Brooks, Houghton and Wilmington Trust.  His international experience included assignments based in Belgium, France, India, and Hong Kong. Tom is a member of the New York State Bar and a graduate of New York University, Fordham University School of Law and Harvard Business School – PMD program.   Tom and his wife, Ellin, reside in Manhattan, NY.
